ReleaseReel is a pack of 5 skills for Claude Code, the AI coding agent. Ask for a video and the skills do the work. For a product, they read your repo for real facts, film your real product frame by frame, cut the scenes on a 150 BPM beat, generate the music and render an MP4, with the post copy ready to publish. No product? Quiz Reel makes quiz and "did you know?" reels on any topic for a faceless TikTok or YouTube Shorts channel, every fact checked on a real source.

What's inside (one zip)

1. Launch Film: a 16:9 launch video (1920×1080) plus X and LinkedIn post copy.
2. Vertical Cut: a 9:16 TikTok / Reels / Shorts video, your app filmed at phone size with a drawn finger, captions kept clear of the platform's buttons.
3. Doodle Mascot: a hand-drawn 9:16 short starring an original mascot for your product, with a local voice-over and captions timed word by word.
4. Quiz Reel: quiz and "did you know?" reels (1080×1920) on any topic, no product needed: questions with a countdown and a fun fact after each answer, or one true story in illustrated steps, facts checked on sources, an original mascot for your channel and a local voice-over.
5. Frame Capture: frame-exact footage of your real app, with 9 recipes (web apps, static sites, WebGL, phone, Expo, Chrome extensions, streaming AI answers…).
6. Studio: the Remotion workspace template, capture engine, music synthesizer and docs the five skills share.

How it works

1. Unzip, then copy the 6 folders into ~/.claude/skills/
2. Open Claude Code: in your product's repo for a product video, anywhere for a quiz reel
3. Ask: "Make a launch video of this project" or "Make a quiz reel about football, expert level"

Requirements

1. Claude Code with your own Anthropic plan (not included)
2. Node.js 18+ and ffmpeg, about 2 GB of free disk
3. For product videos: your product must run locally or be reachable by URL
4. Doodle and quiz videos: Python 3 and a free Piper voice (the skill lists the voices you may use commercially)

Good to know

1. Everything runs on your machine: no account, no cloud render, no watermark, no stock music (it is generated by code).
2. The videos you make are yours, for personal and commercial use.
3. Renders use Remotion, free for individuals and companies of up to 3 people; larger companies need a Remotion company license.
4. Free updates for version 1.
